Social Networking

Social Networking is just part of what makes up the Web 2.0 arena.  It's the building of communities and groups of like minded people all looking to meet and network with others within their own interest group.  As a marketer, you'll want to delve in and start networking.  It's a great way to increase your business exposure, meet potential customers and partners and find new and interesting products or services that could be beneficial for your own business.

Squidoo - if you haven't yet joined this site, then get your butt over there and set up a lens (squidoo version of webpage).  It's sooooo easy and fast.  Within minutes you will be up and running.

There is tons of great ways to market your business through Squidoo, and we'll be bringing you all the news, videos and articles that will help you gain that edge.

While you're waiting and after you have created your page, start to search through the other lenses to find those of interest or relation to your own.  Then first give them a rating (at the top of the page, just click on the stars), then scroll down and see if they have a Guestbook. 

Be careful here, you want to add something appropriate (no spamming!) with your Squidoo link included.  This will get your lens out there in the public eye and help with your own stats.
